There en francais veut dire  là, là-bas

exemple : I want to go there.
Je veux aller là-bas

- "There" signifie "là-bas".
ex : She's there ! 
--> Elle est là-bas !

The shop is there !
--> Le magasin est là-bas !

- Mais avec le verbe "to be", "there" signifie "il y a".
ex : There is a museum.
--> Il y a un musée.

There are restaurants.
--> Il y a des restaurants.

There is a school near here.
--> Il y a une école près d'ici.
